Bar Testing
At NDT Midlands we operate a unique magnetic particle inspection busbar system. This purpose built facility allows us to inspect tonnes and tonnes of bar up to 10ft lengths.
Depending upon the size of bar NDT Midlands can test multiples at a time which allows for quick turnaround while maintaining highly sensitive and quality conscious results.
Indications noticed are linished and measured to determine their acceptability or unacceptability to what ever specifications we are working to.
When customers requirements ask for surface and internal inspection ultrasonics is undertaken following magnetic particle inspection.
This allows for a one stop shop.
Our NDT technical procedures are approved by our level 3 and also Bae Marine and Rolls Royce.
